Fever dream of slam poetry scriptwriting and absurd visuals and my favorite kind of campy set design. reminds me of the frenetic punk of Born in Flames + the disjointedness of Liquid Sky but this film is distinctly its own and one of a kind. i need to watch this again already to properly grasp what went over my head but 3 decades later so freakishly relevant and once again once again once again queer people are the best artists and the most important messengers of what needs to be uprooted to save the world. more of this please will we ever get this back in cinema? also i <3 saritra + othello yellow, cat lover
