holy shit Jerry!
the blood on the baby and the title drop launched this from a 4 to a 4.5
this was so cool. it got better and better as it went on. the whole hospital climax was pretty sick. for a movie so renowned for its action, I actually really loved some of the smaller moments.
the humour, one-liners, the little bromance they have and the combos they pull off😭 shit was so cool
a lof of it actually reminded me of 80s and 90s Tamil films with the humour, dialogue, music, and action. it's very interesting to see something quite foreign also feel quite familiar. it's also cool because a lot of the audience was reacting to things that i thought was completely normal because by some point my brain just processed this movie like a normal Tamil movie.
speaking of which, watching this in a packed room was definitely the right move. i genuinely got transported to somewhere else, forgot i was at uni, forgot everything. me and everyone else in the room were just completely within the atmosphere of this film. absolutely banged.
and of course the action is amazing. the stunts, the guns, the explosions, the flying glass, the flying people, the goofiness, the hilariousness, the awesomeness; I can't say anything that hasn't been raved about before. how they filmed some of this is mind-boggling.
the fight with the fucking hong kongese terminator lowk dragged on a bit too much but i wasnt super bothered by it
only thing i was wondering was how they can tell which baby is which when they've saved them all though🤔
one of the all timers
