So I just learned the campfire of dreams monologue after casca and guts return to the band of the hawks wasn't in the theatrical release genuinely WTF 😭
Also the battle of doldrey has less drama considering they don't provide the context that Griffith sleeps around with the kings to get in their good graces. The scene where he scratches his arms till they bled while bathing in the river was a great scene. Too bad it's in neither version of the arc so if you had not read the manga you wouldn't know why the king wanted to keep Griffith alive in the battle.
This shit literally cut so much out.
