a heartwarming, triumphant story about the long, greuling battle to achieve IVF. beautifully shot (genuinely gorgeous), hits you hard, and teaches you the history of a life changing breakthrough.
better than most “based on a true story” type movies — i think because the characters are surprisingly well “written”, and because there’s a PR battle waging alongside the scientific one. would recommend to everyone!
also introduced me to a banger song (500 miles) in the credits

A perfectly good Netflix movie; one of the few that I’ve watched and felt emotion and connection to the characters. Also, Thomasin McKenzie carried; I like her quite a bit😁
