I watched this because today is March 16th, 3/16, and Stone Cold Steve Austin is famously known for his "Austin 3:16" promo and I wanted to check his filmography. To be blunt, I was not going to sit through Grown-Ups 2 again and you couldn't pay me to watch Smosh: The Movie. So when I saw he had a film with Steven Seagal, I thought "fuck it, maybe this will be another fun stinker from the aikido master."
Folks, it's a boring stinker.
Seagal looks awful in combat gear. Just looks terrible on him. He does a... decent? amount of stuff in this, but you see the choppy editing and you know the real wizard is behind the curtain. Not even the natural charisma of Stone Cold can save this from the fact that Seagal got lazy and kept doing gigs like this. His career is so fascinating and so tiring. Bleh.
