❝Rob? Tsk tsk tsk. That's a naughty word. We never rob. We just sort of borrow a bit from those who can afford it.❞

Robin Hood is such a cozy Disney classic. It's a great adaptation of the English folktale, full of soft yet vivid colours and beautiful animation; in my opinion it works so well because the characters are anthropomorphic animals, so there's a layer of magic and whimsy added. Robin and Marion are absolutely adorable together, and I love Lady Kluck as well. Prince John being a not very intimidating villain means that the true antagonist, Sir Hiss, can really shine through, and they make a good evil duo. The plot's great, and who doesn't love a happy ending with a wedding? This film will always be one of my favourite Disney works, and I've yet to see a 'Robin Hood' adaptation come close to it (this could just be because of my unluckiness when it comes to picking films, though).
