folk horror has never really been my vibe, and their ever growing popularity has been concerning to me but this showed me that there’s something for me there!! this takes a LOT of inspiration from the whole vvitch hereditary midsommar vibe but it really just has more creepy stuff that works for me. it definitely is still a bit too slow and plenty of scenes overstay their welcome unfortunately. being in a uniquer language helped with the off putting aesthetic
top notch visuals and sound design i would of been DYING in a theater and probably given this a 4 maybe even 4.5 bc the overlong scenes wouldnt have been as noticeable
does a taxidermied dog count??? i think so
