This had some good moments, especially those with Sam Raimi’s style apparent in them. But most of the humor is pretty awful. Generally a misfire. It’s very apparent that the script is an early one written by the Coen brothers, and not in the good sense. Just an overall unworthwhile watch. Maybe the only really good joke is the repetition of the line “you know… for kids” which didn’t get old.
