I watched this for John Belushi & Talia Shire. They were both great, but unfortunately, they were in this movie. This movie isn't terrible, but it is wholly uninteresting with a fairly one-note character at its center. Talai Shire does her job well with what was given to her, and the supporting cast is good, particularly John Belushi as the asshole, Eric. The direction isn't the worst, but Paul Schrader & Leonard Schrader's script doesn't pack the punch required to make the buildup worth it.

This was only 103 minutes long but it felt like 3 hours. So boring and disappointing considering the premise is good. I think I might not like Talia Shire tbh. This is the fourth movie I’ve seen of hers and she’s never a highlight :/
