Filmmaking on a budget is going to come with a lot of concessions. It's hard to make everything look really fantastic on a small budget, locations are limited, cast will be limited, and there isn't much in the way of resources for cinematography and lighting and costuming and the like. Extremely Unique Dynamic sidesteps this with a good enough script and a genuinely unique dynamic between their two lead characters. While the script isn't entirely a hundred percent laugh out loud funny, the jokes present are there to bolster either the meta concept or the character personalities and relationships. Its heartfelt look at the insecurities around coming out and how that changes relationships is an aspect of coming out that isn't really explored all too often.
