❝The dreams of youth are the regrets of maturity.❞

I have close to zero idea what I just watched. While its cinematography and visuals are absolutely gorgeous (so much glitter absolutely everywhere), the writing could definitely be improved on, because I felt like I was on crack trying to understand everything going on. The best performance in this film was easily Tim Curry's Lord of Darkness; Tom Cruise looked like he didn't know what was going on half the time, and everyone else was just doing their own thing. I watched the extended director's cut too, so there was an extra twenty minutes of confusion added to the whole experience. I get what Ridley Scott was going for, but Legend is far from his best work.
→ film-related note: i've realised that this film is just tom cruise propaganda, because if i was lili, there's no way in hell i'm going home with cruise when tim curry with massive horns and a looksmaxxer's dream face exists
