This movie is the first of the masterpiece known as lord of the rings (extended edition only) the first one is amazing but I will say it does feel a little extra drawn out at times. There’s not as much action as the others but still the storytelling and the world building is so phenomenal it cannot be ignored. This is by far one of the most beautiful movies ever put on screen, every scene feels immersive and real and most of the time breathtaking. I can really go on and on glazing this movie. Yes, I do feel like the fellowship of the rings is at times a bit of a drag especially when they are with the elves but it’s integral to the story in subtle ways and I understand why it’s there, it’s just not my favorite part really, other than that and then messing up the railing sizes in Rivendell, this movie is immaculate.
