Maybe the minority that enjoyed this more than just from a visual and artistic standpoint. To me it’s an interesting look into Baby Keem’s mind of fighting that addiction of lust, and the difference between lust and love and how they get clouded in our minds as something totally different then the reality of them. The passion and heavy provocation of lust and the acts of sexual deeds presents itself in a way of love because of how intimate and intensely craving for another being it is, which ultimately twist our perception away from seeing it for what it truly is, a vapid life of pointless relationships, that are merely transactional rather than fulfilling in purity and moral benefit.
The melodic blue is ultimately a perfect analogy for that push pull narrative, having sexual lust seem appealing, humming to you in melodic tunes, but at the end of the day bringing only but a tint of a cold blue heart and soul that’s vapid and empty void of love. The blue visuals compliment that well as shown. Great and enjoyable cinematography all around. Feel like I unlocked a new side of Baby Keem. With the film, I feel he proves to be one of the more caring people about rap artistry in a mainstream rap world that’s oversaturated with copycats. whether you think it’s a pointless depiction of lust or not, it’s pretty artistically bold regardless.
