While I was watching Hallow Road, my pulse was so high my watch thought I was doing intense exercise. Easily the tensest film experience of 2025. Rosamund Pike and Matthew Rhys are superb, and I liked that the majority of the film took place in their car. There were a couple of iffy moments, like the weird road movements outside the car, the way they travelled so slowly, and how the journey time didn't decrease for some time despite them actively moving. The last third also deviated a lot from psychological drama to a pretty typical thriller, but overall I would highly recommend giving this a go.
