SUNDANCE 2024, FILM #2
Oh my God, I love this family. I wish I can give Nik and the kids big hugs. I can’t imagine leaving a home I’ve lived in my whole life due to a tragedy. My heart goes out to the family.
This is SUCH a well-done documentary. It’s shot so well. I absolutely loved seeing Maria’s photographs as well. Every frame is a painting. I’d say the direction and editing was top tier as well. Everything else about it was great. I really can’t think of any flaws this film has.
My favorite film from this year’s festival so far, and probably the best documentary I’ve seen at Sundance yet. I cannot recommend this film enough.
