𓏴 ࣪ story & plot 🎬 ⠀⠀
Doesn't follow a story, so I can't say much about that. It's a bunch of different clips of action stunt and pranks put together in a random order. There's also no plot because it is not a traditional movie. It reminds me of those old tapes of a bunch of dangerous and mostly illegal clips out together on the Internet. It's more like watching a YouTube fail video than an actual movie with a storyline and script.
♰⠀ 𓈒 ⠀ cinematography & visuals ✙
No intended high quality moments. Everything was filmed like YouTube videos. Is that bad? Not necessarily. I didn't need high quality to 'enjoy the experience'. And the visuals weren't very appealing. Yes, I know sensitive people aren't supposed to watch it. I don't really feel offended by nudity and sexual graphics. Not at all actually. Some of the sexual pranks were funny. But it just didn't look very nice to stare at shit and puke.
( 🍿 ) —— sounds & music
The musical at the end was so random, but so was the entire movie, so it's whatever. Didn't enjoy the song, but I don't think it was made to be enjoyed. It was made to be funny and a calm down from what just happened. The cherry on top of the cake.
࣪ ۫𓂅 directing & pacing . ⟢
I am sure a lot of thought went into this movie, as far as the boys can think. The pranks are somewhat original and their stubbornness made them follow through with everything. I liked that the pranks weren't too dragged. The number of pranks was enjoyable as well. Not too overwhelming nor underwhelming.

There's not really much to actually act. Yes, the old people did a great job with showing their private parts I assume. And yes, the prank almost at the complete end with the car kidnapping was very well acted by that one dude as well. Not the one with the fake bomb. I mean the driver. And for the casting, the boys work well together. They have the same humor, they get along great, they have fun and forgive each other for the disgusting things they make the other people go through. I couldn't do that. Amazing friends.

I am sure it's great for people with this type of humor. It was a fun humor movie with a bunch of disgusting trends that test your limits. Just not my thing, not their fault.

I actually enjoy watching Steve-Os content privately outside of the movies. And the ones he filmed alone. He is a good dude all in all and yes at times even I enjoy that humor. He changed a bunch since the movies. He is a recovered addict. So amazing for him and his partner! I fucking HATED the animal cruelty in that movie. Like no you do not need snakes to bite your testicles, do inappropriate stuff with mammals and risk their lives and stress them out all the time. I am happy Steve-O is now a vegan who actively announces he's against animal cruelty.

10/10 one of my favorite movies ever. Every stunt is just so iconic that I remember literally all of them even with it being like 4 years since my last watch of this. I remember this being the first Jackass movie I watched and first Jackass product I ever watched. And then I went down a whirlwind of all the Jackass movies and fell in love with them. Again so much great material but I’m going to nail it down to 3 to talk about. First, the Steve-O fishing hook bit has to be some of the craziest shit ever. Pain tolerance is absolutely insane. And he just went into water with sharks right after. Man Steve-O you’re a mad man. Another one that always gets me is the Wee Man rigged chair one. It’s just so hilarious how he thought the cards being thrown up his ass were hitting a nerve. Then he said you got to have a card throwing machine. That bit they pulled on him will always make me laugh just off the fact he was so confused. And finally the Terror Taxi prank will always be the greatest prank ever. They got Ehren McGhehey so good with the first part of the prank literally having him scared shitless. Then they reveal the beard is from the dudes pubes. Some of the funniest stuff ever. Have no clue how Ehren didn’t throw hands after that. Man Jackass 2 is just such a classic and that damn soundtrack rocks.
