wow this was fantastic. shockingly so! i was prepared to have a snarky "oh yeah this is what 2022 was like 😏" but yeah. this was what 2022 was like. thorn knows he shouldn't eat what he does — but he does, because it's the only thing he can afford. thorn hates being a cop — but he can't quit, because he'd end up like the people who fill the stairwells. thorn lives in a world where women sell their lives for safety, the poor overflow out of anywhere they can sleep, and there's a permanent heat wave — but he knows nothing else, and everywhere else is the same. wow, he just like me fr!
my dad accidentally turned the volume up really high at the end instead of turning it down and i just yelled "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!??" i don't even know why i said that
