One person can look 5 minutes at a painting, feel something because of that painting and then move on while another person may feel the exact same as them and look at the painting for an hour.
Not catering to industry standards is something I highly respect but I also think it’s kind of a lot to ask your audiences attention for 2 and a half hours to look at something that is undeniably well made but also undeniably kind of a snooze fest. At some points during this I think it’s selfaware of that like with the painfully long “can I pee” shot so it’s incredibly difficult to rate this movie properly. It’s boring yes but I also think that’s kind of on purpose???
