I am completely blown away by this film! It is hard to believe that I almost bought something else rather than this. Sam Rami goes all out with his over the top directing style. All of the lead actors give 10/10 performances. Sharon Stone’s character is so likable, and is easily the best. She comes into the movie roasting everybody, and it shows her awesome demeanor. Her arc is excellently crafted. DiCaprio was great also, and his death really hit. The plan that Cort, the blind kid, and Lady crafted was amazing, and I loved her revenge scene. Herod was a great villain, and I couldn’t stand him. The action is awesome, and non-stop throughout the film. I love the unique style that The Quick and the Dead brings to the western genre. I think a scene or two to slow the movie down would make it perfect. Go watch this outstanding, yet underrated film!
