Lackluster film. The cast for this movie is so good and also the director so you’d think it’s a match made in heaven but it’s just boring. Nothing feels original about the plot and it’s slightly confusing. The accents from Russel Crowe and Dicaprio are pretty hit or miss at times. Half the movie is people talking on phone calls in the middle of the desert and I have no clue how they got such perfect signal throughout the whole movie it’s actually insane. There’s no real memorable moments and it really doesn’t have much of an overall message while also being quite political. I won’t lie if this movie didn’t have Dicaprio in it I would be rating this a lot lower, he was probably the best bit but it definitely wasn’t his strongest performance.
