This was a very informative documentary that delved into the making of John Carpenter’s Halloween even more so than the last documentary I watched about the production of the film called Halloween: Unmasked. This was nearly an hour longer and offered lots of cool information about how they composed some of the shots, how they came up with the music and mask of Michael Myers, and how they were able to create one of the most iconic slasher films of all time. Even though most of the facts in this doc were also presented in Halloween: Unmasked, this film definitely seemed to be more thoroughly well made and had a certain crisp and clean vibe that enabled it to be a very enjoyable watch. I yet again loved listening to Jamie Lee Curtis and John Carpenter talk about the film and I love the fact that Curtis is so very grateful for Halloween since it made her a star!! Also, most of this doc is just about the first one, but they do talk about the sequels a little tiny bit near the end. All in all, this was very good and definitely worth a watch!!!
