Super creatively shot action scenes, comedy cutaways that are actually funny, and crazy gore

This absolutely rips, not seen any of the newer evil dead films definitely will be checking them out.
I really love it when a horror film just knows what it is and just goes for it.
Some brutal scenes in this and the Grandma was so funny.
I reckon shrek 2 inspired the family dinner scene.

-I recently watched a podcast and they spoke on why the black person has to die first in horror films because they simply wouldn’t be in certain situations other characters put themselves in and this movie is a great example of that because there’s a whole lotta white people shit going on.
-it’s crazy that even in movies niggas are just buying guns for the fashion, they’re not really with the action or the static. Speaking of that specific character, he sucks, he’s useless, perfect horror character.
-I really like everything they did with this movie, lowkey it might be perfect, it’s an action horror masterpiece. The 2nd half felt like something out of a resident evil, outlast, cod zombies esque game and the gore and cinematography really helped with that. Some of the camera shots and tricks they were pulling during certain action sequences are some of my favorites from this year easily. It was so fluid and impactful at times it basically felt 4-D
-its really cool they got Josh Emmett fresh out of his ilia Topuria fight to play the father in this film.
-if you can handle a little(it’s actually a frick ton) of gore i definitely suggest checking this out, there’s never a dull moment
SUPER STRONG 4.5
