I think the party's a great idea. Like when someone dies, you should celebrate their life. If a relationship ends without animosity, why not celebrate the good times and the fact you don't have to see eachother anymore?
Movie is a bit dull though.
The majority of the film is the main characters telling people they're separating and them all having one of two reactions. Then you finally get to the party, and it's during the end credits.
This feels like a film for snobs. I'm sure there's some basement filled with neck beard critics that just adore this film. I'm not in that basement. I'm in my flat eating Mac & cheese and wishing I could watch the crappy live action film adaptation of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.
