really liked this at the start, had potential for some interesting war commentary and the setting was a super pretty and cool island which i always love. but around halfway through this just becomes so meh and is just slop. loses any of the identity it had and left behind all the stuff that was making it a little interesting. 

really bad and choppy editing too

boring and basic which is unfortunately worse than being straight up bad

A Predator type survival movie, with Gill-man, and a Saw bromance?!? Hell yeah! There’s also fun practical effects with bright red blood and a tone that flirts back-in-forth between a B-Movie and something Humanist like Godzilla Minus One. Plus, some gorgeous on location photography that made me wish this was in theaters!

Some of you people can’t appreciate a <90 minute B horror with a guy-in-suit monster if it was made post-90s. It’s got cool fight scenes and fun practicals, that’s all I need from a movie like this.
