This has to be one of the most scandalous and disgusting stories in history. The annulment of his first marriage by breaking with the Church, false charges against Anne and her execution. And the fact that Henry VIII had 6 wives throughout his life, executing two of them all for a male heir, it’s disgusting and not very royal.
With that said, the acting in this was quite good, especially from Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson, and the story was overall quite well told despite its nature.
