It did the exact opposite of what everyone always complains the games do, spend way too much time in the present time, everyone wants to be in the past fighting the Templar. Not one soul gives a monkeys donkey balls about current Templar agendas and I would say about 80% of this movie is in present times. Like what the hell were they thinking, oh wait I know, let’s totally botch a super cool idea from a super successful video game title, LIKE NORMAL!!!
