Thank goodness i’m not in this field of work
When I saw the description for this movie, I went: Omg I have to watch this
This was more interesting than I expected, I was worried it was going to one of those films that seems promising but falls flat
It did feel like it could have done more, I think the film could have been a bit longer and done a bit more with the plot and characters
Jake is such a great villain just because he’s so unpredictably crazy and dangerous. He isn’t afraid of embarrassing himself or anyone else, he’s just so out there and you’re afraid of every word that’s gonna come out of his mouth
Michael Weston’s performance is really good, every action is so well motivated and he plays crazy so well and in such a real way
This film highlights the side of the world I hope I never encounter. The scene in the beginning with the old woman is so uncomfortable and executed in such a good way that you’re like “Agh that’s not good”
The prosthetics look very real. I was cringing in my seat and disgusted in the best way
“Don’t hit the poop tube” That was really gross and I never thought of that before, thank you movie
There were various times where I looked at Jake and Teddy and went: “Are they gonna kiss?”
Especially with the: “She doesn’t know you. I know you.” Okay man, just kiss already what the hell
Some plot points were predictable but executed in a way that I didn’t expect, which saved it
I liked the color grading, the warmth of the skin tones with the cool green of the surroundings is a great mix
Spoilers!
Teddy doing an autopsy on his own fiancée is so sad. I couldn’t imagine having to do that and keep stone faced and professional
The autopsy on Jake while he’s still awake is so good in the way of revenge. Like that’s so gross and so awful
Teddy and Juliette getting it on right next to a corpse is crazy
Gwen laying with the photographs all around her was a really beautiful visual, even in such a tragic moment
