2012 | Documentary

Angela Davis is so awesome and this documentary is fantastic.

I went into this knowing about Davis and what she stands for and her involvement in the black liberation movement and that alone made me admire her so much, but I must admit that I wasn’t too aware of all the details of her being on the FBI’s 10 most wanted list and the trial that followed, so I was hooked and invested in her story.

Can’t wait to read more of Davis’ works!

Angela Davis is a fucking queen and her story is too fascinating to mishandle. Overall worth the watch, but I'll still be waiting for the documentary/film she deserves.
