2012 | Olivier Assayas | French
Third and so far least favorite film by Assayas. It’s good and I really liked the first half, especially the part before they went to italy. Loved all that stuff. It kinda lost me in the second half tho and I honestly didn’t much care for the art part.
I generally enjoyed the way the film wants to mix political actions and ideologies with being young and lost, I just didn’t love the execution for some of that.
It’s a good film, but the second half is severely weaker.
