Rewatching in preparation for season 2 and yeah I still love this.
As someone who got into the books relatively recently, this show really captures the essence and characters of the books so well, even if it skips over and rushes through some major moments. The casting is all pretty much perfect as well, each member of the cast perfectly embodies the characters from the books, particularly Percy and Annabeth.
While not perfect, and I wish it was given more episodes and more time to breathe, this was a great adaptation and I can’t wait for season 2.
