Horror film about a nightmarish work-life balance I am lucky I do not have. Great quiet work by Joana Santos and an array of warm faces that surround her. Loach's involvement is no surprise, it's very much of a piece with his work.

On Falling
It's that feeling that you're now old, you want to connect with people but everyone else around you already has a life and the older you get the harder it feels to connect with someone new, you search for those small moments to feel anything, you crave the connection, the human touch, you go on everyday, life goes fast and you can't live slow and appreciate the world around you, you search for another opportunity to escape this life knowing deep down it will probably remain the same

It's sad how a lot of us feel the same way yet it's hard to talk about it and connect with each other
