Incredibly unique, entertaining movie that is thoughtfully constructed, which is made obvious by Boots’ commentary. The ending talks down to us though. Boots said he had to make some changes after test screenings so audiences could actually “get” the device and the ending which is insane to me. Audiences are so dumb. Pls don’t cater to them Boots

this is like the only movie ever to me. boots riley, i need you working in the industry for forever and ever and ever. i love when a creative can be so unapologetically kooky, erratic, hilarious, a bit lewd, and black, and we get that with i love boosters. this might just be my favorite new watch of the year so far.

the storyline, while many different parts were introduced at many different times, all perfectly tied together and wrapped up perfectly, providing a satisfying ending to the film. the casting for each character was so incredibly done, as will poulter was the perfect apathetic retail manager, kerris dorsey was the perfect overlooked assistant, eiza gonzález was the perfect compassionate (yet nicotine addicted) activist, naomi ackie was the perfect supportive best friend, and taylour paige was the perfect airheaded cute real nigga who is so genuinely me <3

i am making it my mission to see this film at least two other times in theaters. when i say i loved this, i mean i love love love love LOVED it !!!!!!!!

now this is ARTTTTTTTTT. boots, i love you down. the surrealism, whimsical atmosphere to show such deeper themes and tones was amazing. down to the set design and christie’s office being slanted just shows the crooked system we live in. the cast was amazing. taylour paige you might have convinced me to wolf cut my dreads because wow. & don’t get me started on the FASHION. AMAZING. just found out the costume designer for this also did EEAAO, one of my favs. shirley kurata you’re a LEGEND HUNNY. also please bring back COLOR to films. ugh it was soooooo refreshing looking at such vibrant colors the whole time. i can’t wait to watch this film about 20 more times. fashion. forward. filanthropy.

the first bit of the movie i had no clue what was going on tbh but once jianhu showed up i understood a lot more. this was a silly but powerful movie and i can’t say ive seen anything like it, it was super creative and innovative
