This Oslo Stories Trilogy is gonna be the death of me I swear.
I didn’t love it as much as ‘Dreams’ but it’s still good. My facial memory did short circuit cause I didn’t even recognise the main characters from their first scene to their second. To be fair, there’s three very similar looking men in this movie. I’m sorry.
I am interested in how it all comes together with the third instalment which is out next week. What I am loving about this trilogy is the beautiful mature depictions of homosexuality beyond coming out which is always appreciated. When the guy starts talking about how scared he was of HIV that he was put off having sex all together, only for them to announce A HIV vaccine the day he gets his prostate removed. That’s really heartbreaking.
