I Love You Forever is a pretty solid rom-com that starts off very light and funny and then turns very dark. I was pleasantly surprised with how funny this was at certain points, since I knew this film is a more serious take on relationships. The tone shift that occurs in this about a quarter of the way through feels like a slap back to reality, and it just gets darker from there. All the performances were great. Nicholson really goes all in on being a psychopath, to the point where you really hate him by the end of this. Sofia plays her role very well, I found myself really feeling for her character and what she is going through. Jon Rudnitsky is hilarious in this. He was a real source of laughter in such a serious film. All in all a good watch and one that will definitely will go under people's radars since this didn't have a wide release.

This movie truly takes emotionally abusive relationships extremely seriously one moment and then crushes it with the most cringy cliche things a person would NEVER SAY. -10000 stars for the ending because I’m literally laughing, this woman was dating a fucking manipulating sociopath and then the movie ends with the most cliche JOKE ever??????????
