This was decent enough to keep me interested from start to finish really. 

It’s pure 80’s comedy and the style it was back then. A young Tom Hanks carrying this movie wasn’t a surprise to me at all, because he was in his true element of 80’s style comedies. The jokes are pretty outdated and the movie really depends on these and loud gags. This certainly wouldn’t work in this day and age in my opinion as there’s many crude jokes and shock humour which hasn’t aged well. 

It’s a fun enough movie, but it’s certainly one that’s gonna be out of my memory come tomorrow.

You wouldn’t get away with this sort of thing nowadays but it’s as ‘sex comedy’ of its time than it could be. A portion of the jokes and remarks fall flat on its face but the actors know what they’ve been brought in to do and do it pretty well.
