6.8/10 fun watch but I can see why people dislike. This was so inconsistent man but it still put together a good movie for me. The movie definitely could’ve lost a good 20 minutes from it. Acting here was honestly mid but I didn’t expect elite tier acting. I knew I would be entertained because I just love these types of movies. The first act was very boring until they got to sea. When the movie hits the sea its get really good then once it hits land it just bores me again. The third act was pretty good but it felt sort of anticlimactic because how predictable it was. I was ecstatic when the rich dude died. His character needed to go. Xavier was the best character her though definitely from enjoyability, comedy, and writing perspective. His character arc was elite. My favorite scene in this though was the scene where Dr. Loomis finally touches a dinosaur and gets emotional. That scene was S tier because you can feel how hard he has worked his whole career to have that moment and he finally accomplished it. Just a very inspirational scene there. Overall the comedy lands most of the time and there is a bunch of lovable characters but the predictability of the ending and middle of the movie holds this down from being better.
