Rare Jim Cummings miss on this one.
In sci-fi short films, the modern benchmark is "is this better than a random Black Mirror episode?". For comedy, I feel like a similar benchmark is "is this better than a random ITYSL sketch?". And in this case, Cummings has written a fairly average ITYSL premise, but the performance and script don't go half as wild as Tim Robinson would have made it. And I really just want to see that version instead of this.
