mom and i stumbled upon this movie and landed on an exciting movie surrounding scottish nationalism and taking back what’s yours, and hey, i loved it. (in fact, in the end, despite not being scottish, i felt a strong sense of scottish pride after watching this, though a lot of that prolly stems from also falling victim at the hands of british colonization.)
my main gripe with the film was charlie cox, an englishman, playing the scottish main character while other actual scots act as supporting characters.
