Um what is this Shia. I’m sorry but they went for like a Fight Club aesthetic that just didn’t work. It felt like if “Depressive B Roll” was a movie, really mid. Ending was the only good thing basically.

I truly can’t believe how boring this was, i’m sorry it just purely wasn’t for me. Thought it would be more boxing centered but it was just about this guys crappy life after boxing trying to make a living again.

Characters/Acting 6.5/10
The only saving grace for this movie, Shia was definitely different then a lot of his roles but i didn’t mind him. The lead character wasn’t the best but i think he could be good as like someone in the mob or something like that. Just gave him a boring character he’s not bad tho.

Style/Filming 5.2/10
Went for aesthetics the whole time it felt like, wasn’t awful just so aggressively stylistic. Coloring was so sad for some reason, just not for me.

Ending 7.1/10
kinda saved this movie for me not going to lie, closed it out really well. Made you realize what you just watched and learned from the film if you know what i mean

I was genuinely surprised by Salvable cus from the trailer it didn’t look that good and the score wasn’t the most promising. But I’m a big Toby Kebbel and Shia LaBeouf fan so I knew I’d wanna watch it at some point and what delivered was a solid boxing drama filled with really good performances from the main two (even if Shia’s accent was a lil shaky his acting ability made up for it) and a story that is pretty interesting and fun. I do recommend checking it out
