Guys I literally love this film sm, like I've only watched the opening sequence before and I just loved this film. The amount of inside joke so I now have from this film is actually insane.
I think that Sosuke's mum seriously needs to get checked out by some local authorities because what is that parenting. Homegirl literally left her son with some random girl while she went across the side of the island during a typhoon?? Hello??
Also can we actually talk about the animating and the design that went into Ponyo's mum?? I need her now. How did Fujimoto pull her. No. Also Fujimoto I did not need to do all of that. I think some of the parents in this film really need some classes on how to look after children.
Also I feel like making a five-year-old commit to a lifelong relationship so that the world doesn't end is a little bit extreme for a five year old I'm not gonna lie. I hope Sosuke and Ponyo are still together if not we lwk kinda cooked..
