Fantastic film! A revenge movie with werewolves and vampires. Honestly this is probably the best series for portrayal of werewolves and effects that you will get. There are not a lot of good werewolf movies out there, so the good ones are very special. Highly recommend

Well that as shit
Let me start by saying, I really like Michael Sheen. You know, the things he's done for wales are just fantastic but i guess somebody forgot to tell him that acting is more than just putting on an accent in this film.
Let's be real the plottish shit, The CGI is shit, the acting is shit, The character development is shit.... There's not really anything in this, that's good.
Is it the worst thing I've seen? no, not even close, but is it shit? Yes
Look just maybe dont watch the underworld films because they are shit

I remember this being my favourite underworld film when I was 14 but realistically it isn’t great. Looks cool visually with the castles and stuff but other than that it’s just ok. Also Sonja is literally just Selene in every way they even look the same lmao

I'm not sure why I suddenly have an itch to watch all the Underworld movies, but I think this might be the best entry in the franchise - at least out of the first three movies.
The first one was alright, very Matrix inspired, Selene was a great lead but Michael was a particularly uninteresting character and a lot of the movie centred around him. The second was pretty fun because they clearly went bigger with the story and the set pieces and the costumes and prosthetics, it felt a little convoluted but Marcus was a fun villain, the main problem was that Michael and Selene have no chemistry so the romance just felt awkward. This one is pretty safe because if you've seen the first one, you essentially know how this plays out, but it is carried by the performances.
Sheen is a great lead, he adds a weight and gravitas to the role which just sucks you in. Nighy devours every scene he's in in each movie, the man was born to play an arrogant arsehole of a vampire. Mitra's great, it felt like she didn't have that much screen time, but despite that she leaves a strong enough impression to get invested in her character, even though you know how her story plays out. Mitra and Sheen also have the best chemistry out of the three movies, the bar isn't high, but for that reason alone I'd say it's the best one in the series.
