#EoS 2026 D-6

Easy 4 and heart simply because I think every movie that has Debussy will be automatically liked by me.

I liked how there were 2 (obvious) times where Matthias had tried to crawl out of his many peacock-ish, perfect and beautiful on appearance identities only, to be stripped from his autonomy to feel it.

The first was in the theater, where he suddenly got short of breath and was having some sort of panic attack, dressed just the same as the other audience, only to be slapped with the reality that he was causing disturbance (which, he was, in the person's defense).

Second was where the climax happened, of course, him covered in mud and crashing a birthday party by flashing his cock in full nudity to everyone, his most obtrusive way of eliciting an acknowledgement to his emotion yet, only to be dismissed as a performance art (which frankly was what he had been doing, even to himself) before he became another subject to criticize.

This movie felt a lot more than just about having a job that drives you crazy, but also how it feels when you constantly suppress, deny the flaw of emotions, and when you live in a world which state is at its most artificial.
