Great way to end off the Rocky movies. Had everything a Rocky movie needed, emotion, a great speech, great fighting, and great training montage. Tomorrow I will most likely watch Creed 1 and 2.

P.s the statue being taken down really got me EMOTIONAL.

50 YEARS LATER and this is still arguably the most goated franchise ever. You can absolutely feel the 16 year gap between Rocky 5 and Rocky balboa and the THIRTY year gap between the first Rocky and this one! This is the only part of the franchise that was not a rewatch for me.

Realistically this is probably three and a half stars. HOWEVER something that I think was done so beautifully was the evolution in how the boxing part of it was portrayed and how it had become more commercialized and commentary focused. Also it was a perfect full circle because it WASNT ABOUT WINNING!! The beast is gone yipee!
