The story of the early, murderous roots of the cannibalistic killer, Hannibal Lecter – from his hard-scrabble Lithuanian childhood, where he witnesses the repulsive lengths to which hungry soldiers will go to satiate themselves, through his sojourn in France, where as a medical student he hones his appetite for the kill.

The little-boy-Hannibal died in 1944 out in that snow, his heart died with mischa. what he is now there no word for it except a monster
The story was delivered perfectly He hunted them down one by one and took a bite. yes. but it was definitely different from the other movies
“Would you have fed me to your little sister because you loved her?
yes.
Hannibal being straight in here is ew and with HIS aunt ew. Idk abt the casting tho, gaspard Ulliel face pissed me off way too smug
but watching him doing his studies med school anatomy shit is so fascinating Woahness and HIS art ofc
—and oh my god using cannibalism as a metaphor for love and expression of adoration (especially ultimate intimacy in queer love) & symbolises ultimate power—transforming the rude to art is just masterpiece.
