Why did this movie make wilderness therapy palatable? I obviously believe there needs to be a larger spotlight on the abuse and toxicity that encompasses the troubled teen industry, but at several points in this movie I questioned if that was the motive? It seemed to support the harmful narrative that such programs actually do what they falsely advertise to do, with a small side of abuse.

this was lowkey giving the long walk. That being said I am aware that The Long Walk is fictional, while this is based on true events. it sad to see that there's so many events where parents send their children to these things to "fix" them. When most of the times it's the parents lack of responsibility that led children to misbehaving and parents afraid that they cannot control them as much anymore. anyways I don't know what im saying. Rip Miles you should've been in Thailand shaking ahh with hot chicks and living like a king out of 5 dollars
