YES!!!!!!
While so many modern movies that lean heavy into nostalgia use it as a crutch, it was extremely refreshing to see this one exceed far beyond the music and grainy style. With that being said though, it’s hard for me not to get excited about little details such as the appearance of a roland JV-30 among some other cools synths commonly used in the early 90s as well as some really great trance and techno cuts.
I also really appreciate how the first half of the movie very intentionally conforms to classic tropes just to totally wean off them in the second half. It really makes a great curveball and helps the realistic and genuine nature of the film flourish. While it was maybe a little slow, that’s my shit so just something to keep in mind.

Gal aš mažuma, bet neužkabino, o taip norėjosi kad patiktų šitas filmas. Man pasirodė kad jis perdaug remiasi ant nostalgijos, o ne siužeto, o kai as neužaugusi tais laikais ir neturiu tos nostalgijos tai filmas man tiesiog nesuveikė.
