“permesso?” “avanti”
probably the sixth wilder movie I’ve watched, and it literally refreshing to see in his later years wilder explored a different filmmaking style, different to the ones he did in some like it hot, irma la douce, the apartment ect.
of course you can’t have a billy wilder movie without jack lemmon, it is nearly a unwritten rule for wilder to put lemmon in a quarter-some of his movies, but this movie is very charming, the wilder comedy, the wilder plot, and a very similar tone to peter sellers cinematography in the pink panther franchise, classic
4,5/5. and also a side-note, for any 13-14 year olds going to watch this movie with the 13+ sign, it is certainly NOT 13+ friendly, at all

Enjoyable but just did not need to be as long as it was.
