I must be missing something here, because whilst everyone was laughing in the cinema I was thinking what is this utter shit?
Maybe for those who enjoy any sort of theatrics, even if it’s completely unconvincing, it was okay. But I’ve always resonated with films that feel real, not realistic, but convincing sort of real. This film had nothing that felt real about it.

This one is a weird but in a good way one. Clearly based on the experience of 2 musicians in the creation of a song ebony and ivory is weird but fun.
The leads do a good job making the characters fun and likable. There isn't much if a story mostly just focusing on the 2 guys and their experiences arguing about ready made vegan meals, smoking the Doobie cookie and trying to get along. It works for the movie just don't expect something big.
The humor will definitely be hit or miss and I mostly had a good time with it but some comedic scenes do tend to go on a little long and alot of repeating each other's lines.
I can't say much about it except it's a fun and weird time that won't be for everyone. I still had a fun time watching it though.
