just realized that march is women’s history month, so i’m putting the animation challenge on hold and switching to films directed by women instead. this is my first akerman's film, following two teenage girls wandering around brussels. they smoke, they kiss, they drift through the city, and found out how gross men can be. simple and quietly rebellious. very nice!
