would probably work way better as a 45 minute Black Mirror episode rather than feature length: feels a little bloated and missing substance outside of its main premise. Caleb Landry Jones, however, is surprisingly good, hope to see him in more in the future. Also, I guess everyone in the Cronenberg family must just be a freak.

very slow and atmospheric, almost to the point of being boring, but the plot was too bizarre for me to become uninterested. i almost wish this was a show instead of a movie, there’s so much here, but little time to properly expand the sci-fi elements, which i have more than a few questions about. super cool though, regardless! the slabs of muscle meat or whatever the fuck that was was absolutely sick and honestly something i could see actually happening. i know some of you parasocial sickos would buy that shit. just a weird and disgusting movie, loved the third act a lot. caleb landry jones stumbling around, writhing, puking up blood, groaning, and drooling all over everything. yesssss i am so normal!!!!!!! i was unfamiliar with his game, will definitely be binging his entire filmography. love when a beautiful ginger person acts freaky, one of the finer things in life. estrogen could save her 💛
